Presentation created for McCarthy Construction Shareholder's meeting
  • McCarthy group needed to make a presentation that detailed their construction/rennovation of the City College of SF Mission Campus
  • This presentation is only one component - there were collectively 10 presentations that were strung together

The McCarthy group provided Powerpoint templates with presentation content, video footage of various project subcontractor interviews and photos highlighting the various stages of the construction project. I was charged with adding some creative, humorous input and producing a 30 minute presentation that was capable of being delivered in a powerpoint-type slide format with user initiated segways into video footage.

Ultimately, I created the project by combining Flash CS3, Photoshop and Adobe Premiere.

  • I edited the video content in Premiere, adding some special effects and textual narration
  • Encoded and exported the Premiere file to Flash, where I added the content from the Powerpoint slides
  • Imported back to Premiere and fine tuned specialeffects, created cue points that would alllow the user to navigate, pause and control the flow of the presentation
  • Finally, exported the presentation in various presentation segments to Flash CS3 and converted the file to windows projector format for delivery from a laptop and projector
